Daniel Schulof is an internationally-recognized expert in companion animal nutritional science and the founder of KetoNatural Pet Foods. He has written extensively about the scientific record underpinning the most important issues faced by modern-day pet owners, including those pertaining to obesity, diabetes, cancer, and other chronic diseases in dogs and cats. His 2016 book Dogs, Dog Food, and Dogma, about the unique nexus of regulation, industry, and science in the field of veterinary nutrition, has been called "the most rigorous and probing canine nutrition book ever written."
Daniel is also the founder of the Petfood Consumer Rights Council, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting the rights and interests of American pet owners and a lawyer whose litigation against pet food companies and regulatory agencies have led to major changes within the U.S. pet food industry. Daniel regularly gives lectures and interviews on veterinary nutritional science and the pet food industry.
